Although your HCG levels may be showing as high, your pregnancy might not be viable, as about 20-30% of all pregnancies end in natural miscarriage. Ultrasound is the most reliable method of detecting pregnancy viability. Ava Women’s Center provides free ultrasound services.

If you're considering an abortion, the type and cost of the abortion procedure you will be eligible to receive is dependent on the gestational age of your pregnancy. A free ultrasound exam at Ava will provide this information. You will be able to verify the accuracy of this information, as we allow you to see the ultrasound if you choose.
PROTECT Your REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH for free
Because of the invasive nature of an abortion (even using the abortion pill), you might want to consider your future reproductive health. An active STD may travel through your cervix (which must be opened for an abortion) and can cause Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. PID is painful and can cause infertility. At Ava, we offer free testing for two of the most common and treatable STDs. Abortion providers rarely offer this free service before an abortion.
SAVE yourself MONEY
Even non-profit abortion providers charge fees for all of their services. Non-profit abortion clinics may use a “sliding scale” payment schedule that is based on your income, but you will have fees you will have to either pay yourself, submit to insurance, or apply to Medicare.
